I use a golf clicker. $6.99 lasts forever, does NOT need a battery...
I click once per side... easy. I own two clickers. They can sit for years.. or get used every day.
They are already pretty old.
This device with a link reminds me of a digital weigt scale for the cartridge.. I bought one. it worked for a few days. Then I discovered I had to remove the battery or it would be dead.. next time. Then it just stopped working.
The Shure mechanical gauge I have is at least fifty years old. and still works just fine.

Nice, it even may be used with tubes.
This current anemic modern crop of tubes will not reach 9000 hours.

Hey!

That's not bad at all. Well, it is just $20 and not overpriced as an "Audiophile" labeled accessories.

Anyway, I've been using this hand tally counter to track the hours of my KR Audio 842VHD tubes for some years now. I also have another one to track the 845B tubes in my other SET amp.

But that digital counter would be more accurate for sure, I might get one :D
