Hi all,

I decided to change all my digital system. So, I decided to go for an external DAC - the Ack Dack 2.0 + Ultra-low resolution option (acctually I orderit already).

And I don't know what to do for the transport... Initially I was thinking to CEC TL-51x. But in North America is 27% more expensive than in Japan, and I cannot afford it. (North America $1190, Japan $990)

I am not familiar with other stand alone transport up to $1060. Plese help me with your advise and give me some hints, for what should I look for. I would prefer to be a really just a transport. And definitelly I nned it to be NEW.

The CDMPro2 Kit I think should easily take this category.  The only other challenger I would know of is the April Music Stello Transport at $1100 iirc.

If you don't want to build the CDProm kit consider a used Sony DVP-S7700 CD/DVD players are available for around $200.  They are well built, have separate CD/DVD heads, and can be modded for an additional $500 - $1330 by Empirical Audio, see their circle/site below.

Just curious as to why a limit of $1060, but not $1195 for the CEC.
