Came in an email today. BTW,  I've never used or logged into iCloud.   Please advise.

Looks like a fake to me. Notice how the address is from Cork, Ireland (nice town though!).

Best,
Anand.

It's a scam.  Just look at the actual underlying email address behind the Apple alias in the From: field and you will see that it is not from apple.com or any of its subdomains.

Here it is with weird return email address.  What does this scam expect to accomplish if successful?

Obtain access to your Apple ID and who knows what after that. That is a quick delete or report as phishing.

I get those all the time but I have never opened the email to see what the story was. I knew it was spam. My Apple account works fine.

I also get a lot of scammer calls from "Apple Support". One day I received 11.  :o

Actually, Apple’s 6,000+ employee European Headquarters is indeed located in Cork, Ireland (nice town though).

I bet if I had answered the phone from Apple Support the person would have had an Irish accent.

I've received this same email a few times. I even reported it to Apple.

It's a scam.
