Hmmm, Jim, I think you left out the word "not" between would and work below.

I don't see any reason that the SA2 would work well with the SS8's.  They are about the same sensitivity as the SS9.5's and the SA2 works well with them.  But the SS8's are a 4 ohm design, so you would probably want to ask Mike McGary to make sure.
