Recommendations please.
I need an oven thermometer, a refrigerator freezer thermometer and a non-instant read meat thermometer. Once again the 'recommended' ones from review sites have a 10+% one star ratings on Amazon. UGH!

I’m a fan of ThermoWorks. I keep a thermopop in the kitchen for instant read and have an older Smoke for the smoker (bought it when they first came out and when it dies I’ll get a WiFi model). They make thermometers for everything and have never let me down.
FYI, There is a warning on their site about buying their products from amazon.

Thermoworks, (Thermopen, Thermopop) are very popular names with the smoking/BBQ guys.
You can't go wrong.
Personally, I buy the cheapest Bluetooth units I can find, so when I "somehow" manage to melt one, it's easier to replace a $20 than a $120 unit.

One may laugh, but I've had great luck using Ikea's $6.99 digital kitchen thermometer for an oven thermometer. Not sure if this type is what you had in mind though. I've used it for several years and it keeps on working. It also does double duty every day as a tea brewing timer.

had in mind
I'd also suggest going over to Crate and Barrel and checking out their thermometers, good selection. I've had good luck with their old school Taylor dial thermometer for meat, very reliable.

Is there a commercial restaurant supply store nearby? Go there and pick up what you need. As for food thermometers, get ones that can be calibrated using ice water or boiling water. You don't need a to spend a lot for good, accurate thermometers.

This one of the coolest things I've seen in a while:

If you can wait until Black Friday or around Christmas, these should be on sale.

I cheaped out and went with Photon46's Ikea recommendation for their meat thermometer. It's getting the job done. Still need to get my butt to the local restaurant supply store for the rest.
