WTB: Salk Floorstanding Speakers

Want To Buy: Preferably any of the Song Tower series or Song3's:

- Salk SongTower
- Salk SongTower RT
- Salk SuperCharged SongTower
- Salk Song3
- Salk Song3-A
- Salk Song3 Beat

Located in Milwaukee but can travel a few states in any direction for pickup. I am also in Chicago often. (Would prefer local to avoid having to ship and to test and look at the product first) Thanks.

If I was in your position I would be heading to go see Jim Salk to listen to the Song3 BeAT’s he has listed for sale in his circle right now.

Ya thats my ideal plan but I will have to wait till this upcoming summer in order to have access to the car ferry to take my car across from Milwaukee to Muskegon because then the drive is only 6hr round trip to Salk's place compared to 13hr+ round trip if I have to drive all the way around Lake Michigan. I appreciate the information share though; beautiful speakers.

Very cool. I had no idea there was a ferry across the Lake.

Not cheap though! Clearly justified only for high-quality speakers.

Correction: it's only $149 R/T.  The guy whose review I read on TripAdvisor said it was $200 O/W.  Other interesting facts: 1) no cell service in the middle of the lake (naturally) though you can pay up for internet service and 2) you cross a time zone along the way.  Seems like fun overall, and saves a ton of time not to mention skipping Chicagoland traffic.
