I'm in the market for a turntable (my first). Who sells turntables in Colorado, and what brands do they carry?
Thanks,
JD

Spoil yourself and ask Chris Brady for a demo of one of his Teres turntables. He is located in Broomfield, CO - give it a listen and all other vinyl spinning will seem ergh pedestrian.

Colorado isn't a bad place to be if you're looking at turntables, but it might not be a great place if you're looking for cheap tables.
In addition to the Teres which certainly merit a trip (great sounding and gorgeous), John Barnes at Audio Unlimited is a serious dealer of high-end tables and cartridges. He focuses a lot on the mega-buck stuff, but he's a good guy and I'm sure can set you up with more entry-level stuff from the lines he carries.

I think Moondance is a dealer for both Rega and MusicHall. That might be a good starting place. You should call first as I'm noting this from vague memory.

Audio Alternative in FT. Collins, Randall and John have been mentioned, and Jim with Sounds Real in Golden. I can't remember the shop name, but a guy in Colo. Springs also carries TT's.
Good Luck,

I don't sell TT's, but I'm running an "old school" 1998 Linn Sondeck LP12 /Goldring combo if your interested in hearing that? What tables have you listened to so far and what quality's are you looking for?

I will have to second the Teres Audio recommendation. I decided to get back into vinyl at the beginning of the year and ended up with the Teres 160 and love it. Check them out; call Chris for an audition. He is really good to work with and would enjoy talking with a fellow audio nut!

Edit: Sorry - I didn't pay any attention to the date of the first post. I guess I'm a bit late with this!

Welcome to AC Holly. I've seen your posts in the Teres mailing list. I agree, Chris is great to work with.
