Tube Gear Repair in Raleigh
«

Hey folks.
One of my tube pres took a lightening strike that blew through the surge protector and I need to find a tube pre repair facility close to Raleigh. I have used Alex of the Analog Store in the past when he had his shop here in Raleigh, but he moved his shop over to Four Oaks. Worse case I can take it to him there but thought I would check here and see if there are any tube repair shops in Raleigh.
Thanks.
Terry

It is a bespoke pre with MC phono from a small British company. I didn't want to ship it back there for diagnostics if I can avoid it. (-:

If you can drive it as far as Kernersville, about an hour and 45 minutes west on I-40, Carmine Cupani (at CT Electronics) comes to mind, but he is
always
backed up and you'll have to wait for the estimate and the repair.
