For Sale is a pair of Bel Canto REF600M monoblock amplifiers in their standard black finish. These 300 watt (into 8 ohm) power houses employ the new nCore 500 modules. I’ve had these amps for over a year now. They are the best sounding amps I’ve yet owned. They synergized beautifully with my Cary SLP-05 tubed preamp which is also for sale in another ad. They have a seamless beauty yet go deep with fantastic grip on the low frequencies. And unlike my previous class A “furnace” amps which would heat up my room very quickly in the summer, these guys never even get warm. And they sound better too.
Note that these amps are not the typical differentially balanced class d monoblocks that require care with grounding when taking their speaker level outputs to a subwoofer(s). The negative speaker terminals on these are at nominal ground level without a dc offset.
The amps are in like-new condition and I can’t see any cosmetic defects on them. And they function perfectly. I am only selling because I am now retired and wish to raise funds for an integrated amp to simplify my system. I’m discovering that it certainly is different when there are no more bonuses available for audio component purchases!
