Enjoyed reading the white paper. Some interesting items in there.
My only quibble is that Bryston couldn't find other loudspeakers that could allow the Bryston amp to perform at it's best.
There are indeed a few brands that would fit the bill:
1) Dynaudio: They also make their own drivers, and are considered among the best available
2) Focal: Similar approach to Dynaudio
I know that Dynaudio ensures each speaker they send out measures within 1 db. Hard to beat that.
Another set of speakers that would work very well are the T+A Criterion line. They are among the best speakers I've come across, and exhibit a wide dispersion area.
So, while I'm confident Bryston loudspeakers perform vey well, there is competition out there for the market.
