Because the CIAudio passive pre is "in-to-out", isn't it possible to use it as an input expander.....before an active preamp ?
So that a 3 input preamp, becomes a 7 channel input ?

Yes, but you’ll have 6 inputs (not 7) as one of the 3 active inputs is fed by the fixed output of PLC.
