FS: Counterpoint SA-5.1 preamp with mods (Price reduced)

Selling my highly modified Counterpoint SA-5.1 preamp.

Mike Elliot of Alta Vista performed the first set of mods: upgraded all capacitors, removed the balance control from the circuit, upgraded all RCA jacks and upgraded the power supply with a Plitron toroidal transformer .

Mike Bettinger performed the next set of upgrades: replaced the volume control and removed, disassembled and cleaned the selector switch.

Price is $1,695 plus shipping from zip code 19604. I will absorb any paypal fees.
My price is firm and fair.
I had to spend 3 times this amount to better the Counterpoint.
