The photos will give you a good idea of the upgrades and mods. Removed the original transformer and added a hulkin' big toroid transformer in an outboard chassis. Lots of extra filtering added to the amp chassis.
The power transformer chassis connects to the amp chassis with a 4-ft umbilical cord with a big Neutrik twist-lock connector.
Many upgraded parts on the amplifier circuit boards. Note that there are no changes to the circuits--only upgraded parts.
Also, upgraded binding posts, input jacks, and power cord. (It's a hard-wired power cord, good quality with teflon insulation.)
The amp still has that warm Hafler sound, plus: faster, better bass control, better resolution, and BIGGER. Nice amp as you can see, but having not used it for about a year, I'll let it go.
