(SOLD) A pair of Elrog 300B tubes in excellent condition.  Low usage (less than 100 hours) and under low heat (used on my Lampizator DAC).  Organic, natural, and sweet sounding tubes!  Really hate to see them go, but must sell to fund other project.  Retail new $1,450.  Asking $850 shipped.

Hi there,

Assuming that all DHT tubes are organic, natural and sweet sounding...where would you say the ‘slant’ is with these tubes? Tight bass vs. round, warm mids vs. airy and extended highs, etc... ???

There are different levels of naturalism and sweetness when it comes to tubes.  Elrog sounds more real, organic, sweet, and delicate than some of the others.  In addition, you can listen to them for hours without any hint of fatigue.  To me, that is the most impressive attribute of the Elrog.  It just seems to do everything right.  I may regret later for selling them.  Oh well, I needed the money...
