...and i will be sending it to radio shack, best buys, etc...
====================================
hi,

i have been a customer of yours, and i have frequently recommended audio advisor to others.

i now realize you carry products from monster cable.  until you stop doing business with them, & publicly condemn their harrassment of other non-audio-related businesses w/the word *monster* in their name, i will be boycotting audio advisor & recommending everyone else do the same.

regards,

doug sedon

everyone should also do this kinda stuff...

Doug,
You need to go out and get laid.  I'm not a fan of the Monster or their recent harassment of smaller guys but don't think they killed anyone.  Either way, go out and get yourself a nice buxom, long legged 30 y.o. redhead.  I guarantee you won't be thinking about Monster cable!

While I am not an activist, you might be well served in your "protest" to start a "petition thread" for people to sign on to, and agree to not purchasing MONSTER products or use retailers who sell them, "until" they cease and desist, from their legal actions.

Then do an e-mail campaign to the retailers who sell the stuff and point them (URL) to the petition threads.

    Just a suggestion.

Sounds like a great idea.  I understand Monster dropped their suit against Monstervintage.com, the clothing store, on the agreement that Monstervintage could not counter sue. The guy had to use his wedding money to pay for the legal fees against Monster cable according to Ray Kimber over at AA.

Your idea is right but stating stuff like "publicly denounce" in the piece will cause the letter to go right into the dumpster.  it makes you look like an extremist instead of a truly concerned customer.

You may wish to re-write future correspondence you send.

re: this comment, i feel companies will either throw or not throw into the dumpster my letter, regardless of whether or not i do or do not ask for a public denouncement of monster cable's business tactics.  it just helps get across the level of how upset i am regarding monster cables.

    Doug,

Best way to do it is to play the "political" game.  You play it right, they might not throw your letter away.  That's the result you want, yes?

personally, i think they will throw *everything* away.  *UNLESS* they get a *LOT* of mail about it.  only then will they take notice.  a petition mite not be a bad idea.  but, i am not sure i am ready to get that inwolved about an issue like this, when there's *real* problems in this country & the world.  like perhaps a petition to court-martial the commander-in-chief for war crimes?

seriously, i yust wanted to make a small statement, & encourage others to do the same.
