SOLD FS, Rythmik L12 Subwoofers
« on: 19 Dec 2018, 07:54 am »
I have 2 nearly new Rythmik 12" 300 Watt sealed subwoofers. These are their entry level subs and I used the pair with a set of Selah Audio Tempestas to finish off the bottom end.  I'm dealing with a 20' X 30' room and I going to switch over to a pair of large floor standers.  They have seen limited use and are perfect being used in an adult only smoke free home.  I have the original double boxes.
They are 539.00 on the website, 350.00 each + Shipping

Do two of these subs not fill your 20 x 30 room?
Can you give me your impressions on them? Are they accurate? Fast and musical? But do they hit hard too? I am looking at replacing my two RSL Speedwoofer 10S's. Wonder if it is a lateral move or a step up in everything.

I'm using a Marantz as a processor and used the Audyssey room correction mic to set things up.  It has you set it a 50% output and it dials in the signal that it sends out to the woofer.  The room is pretty much wide open except for some leather furnature and an area rug and they did fine with plenty of output.  I had 2 Klipsch SW-112 subs prior to the Rythmiks and the Rythmiks definitely sound tighter and less boomy than the klipsch units.  They had plenty of output left.

Rythmik suggests the sealed unit (L12) for music over home theater but they handle movies with ease as well.

They would be strictly for music. That's why I am looking into a sealed enclosure.

You want to do a straight up trade for my ZU Audio Omen Dirty Weekends which I just reduced the price to $700?  :D

I actually have my sights on a set of Tekton Double Impacts, they're running a special with a center channel right now.  That's why I'm trying to move some of my existing equipment, I want the speakers and to stay married.

Tektons are legit. I owned the M-Lores and then moved up to the Pendragons. Loved both of those speakers. And of course, the DI are supposed to be sweet. Never heard them though.
I hear ya, if I want to stay married, it's almost a must that I sell something when I buy something new. But if you are looking to stay married, those DI's are HUGE! It's one of the reasons I sold my Pendragons. Just too big and there was no WAF with them! She wanted them gone.  She loves the ZU's though. The fit and finish on them are way better than Tekton. And they don't take up a huge amount of space but play WAY bigger than they are.

I have a Zvox upstairs under the TV because of that same issue, the DI's will go in the basement, off the radar.

Cool. Enjoy those DI's! I have read nothing but great things about them. So tell me a little more about the subs.

I am interested in one, but would need it shipped to NC.  Do you have one for sale still?
