There's a whole scene in England revitalizing jazz (Sons of Kemet, Moses Boyd, Phronesis, etc.) and Stereophile is definitely not aware of it.

Jazz don't need revitalizing!!!!!  However it's nice to see our culture still being embraced by others.

If you were a regular reader of Fred column, he recommended Phronesis' Parallax back in 2016.

When i go thru the lists of what people recommend - i may pick out 1 or 2 or 3 off their list or none - it really depends where i am as far as my tastes in music at that time and whether its sounds really good to me
