Sturgis suggested that I reconsider the KT90 tubes for my Rogue M150 monos. Since then I have read that the EH KT88 tubes I currently use are very nice, but the KT90s are a step above. As the sick audiophile I am, I found an octet from a seemingly reliable source on ebay.
Question:
Can I break in these tubes by leaving the amps running 24 hours a day with the preamp OFF? If not, I'll hook my variable output Wadia cdp to it each night. I'd rather not put that many hours on my pre.
