@mix4fix, I have a Schiit Fulla (gen 2) that I like. 
USB input for sound or for power only.
A KNOB for volume.
Input jack, 1/8"
Output jack, 1/4"
more outputs, 1/8"

It drives my Sennheiser's nicely (150 ohm)
