Well I'd have a lot to say on this issue, but that would be against site guidelines, no politics, no guns.  There's no grey area here gentlemen.

you are arguing for the suppression of free speech.
Nobody is. There's a time and a place for it. People use sporting events as an escape from reality/politics for a couple of hours.
Fans are the customers of NFL teams. If I piss off a potential or current customer while on the job, how long would you think I'd continue to have that job. What I do on my own time is nobody's business.

Even though the knee is intended to bring attention to the wanton and sanctioned killing of black people for simply being in the wrong place at the time of unnecessary shooting,

Are you talking about Black on Black murders in Baltimore? Chicago? Detroit? insert any urban city here.

Cleveland wins!

Baker Mayfield may have just earned himself the starting job

What's with the NY teams? :duh:

Last night Jets Isaiiah Crowell pretending to defecate then wipes himself with the ball

Last year Odel Beckham celebrates a touchdown by peeing like a dog on an imaginary hydrant

The parallells will not end there. They'll both finish last in their divisions

Both those clowns should be fined and suspended for crude and illicit behavior. Second offense earns a ban from the league. Wouldn't you expect a man in his 20s to have evolved beyond potty humor? These guys are supposed to be college graduates, yet they behave like second grade. They probably light each other's farts in the locker room. League parity, long a stated goal of the NFL, will occur when every team reaches the bottom. As usual, New York is ahead of the curve.

He’s fun to watch! Brings a lot of tallent and energy to the Browns offends.

Kinda reminds me of a guy retuning from an injury this week!  :green:

More truth in that than perhaps you meant.   :icon_twisted:

I only saw the 2nd half, with Mayfield playing.

I don't think there is any "may" in there, I would expect riots in Cleveland if he doesn't start next game.

It's only been what, 2 years since they last won?

As an aside, I expected very little out of this game, but it turned out to be entertaining.

It had been 635 days, but who's counting.

I watched the first half and have to say it was just getting interesting. If Mayfield doesn't start, there's something wrong with Cleveland coaching. Whether he wins or not, the fan enthusiasm is worth it.

Yeah, well, all this winning crap is tearing up my weekly pools.

It looks like the Patriots have finally hit the wall of sticking second and third rate receivers and running backs with Brady and expecting wins.  Gronk was double teamed every single play, no one else can catch a ball.  You can see why they signed Josh Gordon, they're very desperate.

In defeating arch-rival and Divisional foe Atlanta yesterday, Drew Brees broke Brett Favre's NFL record for the most career completions.

Brady might have the most rings, but Drew added this NFL Record to his growing list of records, which also includes the NFL's all-time leader in completion percentage (67.1%) and passing yards per game (283.4). Going into the game with Atlanta, Drew was already ranked among the top-five all-time passers in touchdowns (493), yards (71,127) and passer rating (97.0).
Congrats, Drew. You kick ass.

Go Saints!!!

Even though the Steelers won, I'm not impressed. Regardless the NFL is becoming unwatchable with all the stupid new rules and the yellow flags that follow. Thankfully we all have our music and being able to watch a recap the following morning in the gym ........

Good news/bad news day.
Good news is that I turned on the boob tube and the Giants were playing.
