Oh man, it's dirt cheap, well built, compact and light - just what I wanted. I wanted a portable internet laptop but also just to play my music via JRiver. *sigh* Bummer.

Maybe a bluetooth to USB dongle is the solution. Not high end but look on the bright side - no cords.
Never used one, I picked this one because it is cute:

Maybe the latency is too high to maintain a steady stream.

A shot in the dark, if you have a USB hub, connect the DAC to the hub

Well well well. I tried the hub but of course the software couldn't recognize the DAC - but then I removed the Uptone Regan. Bam! Sounds great!

Weird that it did work with the other computer though.
