They sound extremely good, a bit big for a typical desk but worth the $170 at newegg.

Just bought them from Newegg.

It's my first purchase from them, and I must say I like the (automated) communication I've recieved so far.

Looks like I will move my Monsoon's to a son's room.

I think Klaus has these for his computer, but I don't recall hearing them at his place.

I've owned a pair of these for a few years now and have been quite happy with them. The guys I work with think they are a little over the top but what do they know.

I agree about Newegg, never had a problem with them. Good prices and great service.

Great service from Newegg.com...I got them tonight.

They had two packets of hookup wires, one being an extra, that were slightly different than the pictures. No speaker wire was included, so I used an 8 foot run of DH Labs Q10 to hook speaker to speaker.

They ARE big, almost too big. They sound very nice, but I wish they could play louder. They would be fine for most offices, but for a home where you might want to really crank an occaisional song they are a tad lacking IMO.
