I tried to change the email address linked to my account and now I can't log in. I never received the confirmation email.

The username is shakeydeal. The old email is ozzy62@verizon.net

The new email is shakeydeal1@verizon.net. I have tried to resend the activation email three times but still have not received it.

Sorry Tim, I can't find shakeydeal, or either of those two email addresses in the memberlist.
That would explain why you can't login...

Approximately how many posts did you have?
Approximately when was the last time you successfully logged in to AC?

I will investigate and will report back here. Standby.

I was logged in this morning. I usually am always logged in. I noticed my contact email was outdated and tried to change it, then the trouble started........ :x

Tim, using FRM's link I can see your profile page, and your posts. Your new email address appears correctly, as you spelled it in this thread.  So there is something else wrong.

Fixed.

Tim, your account was not yet activated after the email change. You needed to receive and respond to the email that was automatically sent to you after the email change request, in order to reactivate the account with new email address.

I manually activated your account, and server sent an email to the new email address. It is very important that you reply to this thread to let me know that you received the server email at your new email address. If you are still not receiving emails at that address then we need to fix that. Please reply about the email. Thanks!

After I activated your account manually, now I can find your name in the Members list. It was visible in the admin member search page while it was inactive, but it was invisible to regular members until activated. That's also why you couldn't log in.

I don't know how FRM saw it using the regular member search from home page while it was inactive, but that helped, so thanks!

Is your new email address working for other emails?
Did you make sure AC emails are not caught in spam filter?
