Redshift: is a British group that plays Krautrock.
I have a couple of their albums but 'Ether' is in my regular rotation. I describe it as ambient and consider it one of my best albums.

Brian Eno, no.
I have many Tangerine Dream albums Livemiles being my favorite. I listen quite often to dvd 'Live in Lisbon 2010' which is a montage of their work over the years. Also have 'Live in London' but the recording is not as good as Lisbon.
Have quite a few Gary Numan, listened to him a lot in the '80 but now only listen to 'Living Ornaments '80). Also have 'Living Ornaments '79' but I prefer the up tempo of '80.
Listened to Kraftwerk quite a bit 'Trans Europe Express' now I only listen to 'Autobaun'. As well as Vangelis, Yanni, Ron Boots, David Arkenstone, Jarre, Michael Garrison, some Neuronium, Klaus Shultze, Trance, and I guess Emerson, Lake & Palmer- Show that Never Ends fits into electronic music catagory.

I was a fan of the Scorpions. Do they fit the bill?

The first track on that Brain Box Set is Scorpions:
Disc: 1
1. Scorpions 'Leave Me'
On disc 4 there is:
5. Atomic Rooster 'Time Take My Life'
that is a UK band which had Carl Palmer on drums.

Just purchased Kraftwerks 12345678 3-D, excellent! Really good sounding cd, great recordings from their last live tour. Some aspects of these recordings sound even better than the original vinyl releases.

On of the best music albums I had listened was Ralf & Florian, the sound on LP was great also. I used to listen to this 33rpm LP in 45rpm, this is the original version:

When I first got in to Wilco I read they were really influenced from the Krautrock band Neu! So I started listening to Neu! So good. Amazing they were that much ahead of their time. Listen to Spiders by Wilco. Then listen to Neu! Imitation is the highest form of flattery.

In January of 1981, I thumbed through the bins of a shallplatten geschäft (record store in Germany) for the first time. Here's a cut from one of the albums I purchased that day. I bought it because of the album cover, just as I did with the other selections I made - I had no idea what I was buying. The singing in English surprised me with this album, but I really liked it - bought another copy for later in life which I still haven't opened. This thread has prompted me to do just that. Here's to old times!

I have had no one CD from Jane so far, a shame, many prog rock fans though Jane was a Romantic Pop band due the female name.
His sound was a bit similar to Genesis so on the puchase time I have always opted for other band, since there is so many options on Krautrock.
On that time imported CDs were top money, $25USD each at an hi exchange rate.
