This is a follow-up to TJHENDRY’s earlier post today in The Music Circle, "Since this is African American Music month”...

For free, 3 new, unopened copies of the Tyrone Brown cd “A Sky With More Stars” to be given to 3 lucky members of the Audiocircle. You pick a number between 1 - 50. Three random numbers will be generated next week. The first 3 players closest to the numbers will win. You send me your address and I'll pay the postage; you enjoy some engaging music while hearing Douglass speaches merge with Ty Brown's jazz and learn more about one of America's most remarkable 19th c. figures. And Ty Brown’s ensemble includes the always fabulous John Blake on violin.

Conus only to play please.

History meets art; art embraces history. The producer for this project must have been some sort of brilliant visionary.

Good karma to you,
Lester

First, my apologies for being so tardy but I've been out of State seeing to, or trying to do so, family problems.

But I'm back home now and the numbers selected were: 7, 11 and 20. If I'm not mistaken those ACers selecting those numbers, or numbers closest to them, are Bob2 (7), GAB (9) and SClark (19).

Congratulations to them and if they pm me a mailing address, I'll get these in the mail as soon as possible.

Thanks to all for playing and good karma on them.

Cheers,
Lester

All cds will be mailed tomorrow.

Here’s an amusing Douglass story. Douglass’s mother was unsure of his exact birthday. Later when Douglass had to choose a birthdate for official documents he chose February 14 because as a child his mother would often call him “her little valentine”.

Take care,
Lester
