Chronicles of Riddick is a great example of space opera and one of my favorite popcorn movies. I've probably seen it 10 times now and I can't wait for the sequel.

The reviewer probably didn't like the Conan, Terminator and Preditor movies either.  Too bad. They are great entertainment if you don't overanalyze them to death.

Josh,
was "Dogville" on the worst list because it was poorly done or because it was so avant-garde in its technique??  I didn't see it because of Ebert's scathing review, but I considered renting it just as a learning experience.
Seems to me it's differently "worse" than rather conventional movies like "Taxi" or "Stepford Wives"??

I'm not a big Lars Von Trier fan, but sorta admire his pushing the cinematic envelope (even if the result is a failure). I DO love "Breaking the Waves" but realize many would absolutely hate it.
