line level or RCA A/B switch?

I'm trying to hook up 2 subwoofers, a left and a right, to both of my amps. My home theater 5.1 and my my mono block 2 channel set up.
In order to do this easily and safely, I assume I need some kind of switcher? Up until now I've just been unplugging one set of RCAs and switching them for the appropriate amp.
Is this what I need? Do you have other suggestions? Do these both do the same thing? Should I be looking for a better quality switch? Maybe I can even build one??
Also I tried posting in the "path of least resistance" but it wasn't allowing me for some reason.
Thanks folks.

Heck, even Radio Shack made RCA input selector switch boxes. Yes they are labeled input, but nobody will tell if you use them for outputs.

Stores use brands like -
https://www.pacrad.com/calrad-40-649-three-position-rca-video-stereo-audio-switch.html
or
https://www.audioauthority.com/product_details/1154A1
Years back when Circuit City was going out of business they had these huge plastic bins full of things. I asked how much and they said $25/bin, including the bin and contents. So I picked up one. It had Audio Authority and Calrad distribution switches in it they used to distribute audio (e.g. from CD/DVD players) or video. I used one for a bit in the old house and gave away some of the cables.

So you need two 2-channel inputs and one 2-channel output, correct?
How about the Schiit Sys?
