I'm about to enjoy lunch in a 115-year old traditional Japanese wood home with sliding panels and tatami floors. The music is coming from a cute little turn table.

Surprisingly, some of the better Crosleys now come with magnetic cartridges. Not great, but lots better than the good ol' ceramics with pennies.
With the properly used (worn) albums, they can be a fun diversion in a pinch. Enjoy.
