So the KEFs run full range, which isn't optimal at reference levels. I would run them crossed at 120Hz as Maty suggests, but no can do at the moment.

With two or more subwoofers you can cut higher than 80 hz without loss of stereo image and.. the speakers can rise in power!

KEF Q100 with subwoofer(s) -> close the front bass-reflex with the foam that accompanies them.

How do you control the three subwoofers, which hard? How do you have connected?

Here's a few photos of my setup... The sub locations are always changing as I tweak. And yes, I have the ports of KEFs plugged for better sub integration.

Before I get all the usual suggestions, please keep in mind that I share this living area with my lady and two kids. So no speakers in the middle of the room etc.

So, it's DSpeaker via RCA to the Hibachi amps, which have two RCA outs (fixed line) each. I have the Martin Logan Grotto connected to one amp this way, and then one of the Pinnacle subs (the one by the couch, not pictured) are daisy chained from the Grotto's RCA out. The other Pinnacle is connected to the other amp in the same way as the ML sub.

The goal of the multi-sub array is simply to smooth the in-room bass response, as none of them are playing high enough frequencies to disturb the stereo image. As I mentioned before, the DSpeaker 'sees' the entire speaker/sub system as a 2.0 system, so the bass management possibilities are quite limited.

Those look pretty sweet. Maybe I'll do ones with album art. Or get creative with size and placement, or do Rothko type installations. Good inspiration.

With three or more subs you need something like this:

With two subs is more easy.

I would connect every speaker with sub by High, cut > 130 Hz. And after DRC, REW... and a well measured mic.

The KEF Q100 woofer has the impedance resonance at 65 Hz. That is why I would try to cut above 130 Hz with two or more subwoofers.
