Not that I can afford it but wonder what preamp you use w/this beauty?
or what preamp is suited?

I've had many. Ayre KX-5/20, Ayre KX-R/20, PS Audio BHK, McIntosh C-52 and a few more I can not remember.

One of my favorites and only preamp now is the LTA MZ2 with ext. power supply and Mullard 12AU7 tubes. Yes, only RCA ins/outs but a superb little performer. Surprisingly, this is my go to preamp now. Love it.
