You list a tape output option for your Signature and Reference Jolida's.
Question- can a tape output be added to these amps (and still keep the 4 inputs) with the option of an on/off toggle switch for the tape output jacks?
If so, what would the cost be?
Absolutely. additional RCA jacks could be installed to accomidate the tape output. As far as a toggle switch, this is not needed unless you are going with a true tape loop with monitoring.
A standard tape output with additional RCA jacks would be $50 installed.
A true tape loop with monitoring would be $100 installed which would include two additional sets of RCA jacks and the toggle switch or front mounted selector for the tape loop.
Also, I notice that some of the amps have transformer covers and others don't. Which is standard?
All "B" series amplifiers have the aluminum face plate and transformer covers. If you see a "B" series without the tranny cover, someone simply removed it. The original "A" series amps (same as "B" series but older style chassis) did not have a face plate or tranny covers. These are what we use for our exclusive Signature and Reference series products as I have the ramaining inventory through a special contract with Jolida.
