Changed gain and load resistors in my Bugle

I moved to a Mc cartridge and had to adjust the gain. In my rush, I forgot to remove the opamps. Now all I get is a hum. Do you think I damaged the opamps, or could I have done something else wrong. Thanks for reading the post of an idiot!!

It is not necessary to remove opamps.  Unless you have a static problem.  I don't think the hum is related.  Probably a magnetic field type interference.

Play around with cables grounding, placement and orientation of Bugle.  Let me know what you find out.  Is it in just one channel?

I had unsoldered the inputs at the plug, to give me a littlemore room to move. Checking underthehood again. the left channel "hot" wire was not connected! I resoldered the connection.  Now I have only the right channel. Before I had nothing but hum. That was becauseI had the bugle located on top of a pluged in transport. The hum is gone, one channel is back. Checked my pockets but still haven't found the other one???
