Hello. I'm a longtime audiophile (the kid in college who had Magneplanars while everyone else had Cerwin Vega's) that, in my older age, has learned to simplify my quest for audio nirvana. Experience and wisdom have taught me that the pursuit of perfection does not involve high end fuses, cable elevators, or expensive component racks. I am vehemently "anti snake oil" and enjoy reading the adjectives used to describe the "huge" differences these tweaks make. I'll try to behave.  :lol:

They were rather obtrusive! I had a single room by my sophomore year so I wasn't too cramped. Everyone assumed that because they were big they must certainly play loud. Lol. I can't tell you how many people asked me to "crank em up". I'm envisioning them now as parents buying Beats for their kids...

Evidently, I have not been active on the site and am required to reintroduce myself so….here I am! I am a panel speaker aficionado. I have multiple Acoustat and Apogee speakers located in various rooms of my house taking up a lot of vertical space. I’m looking forward to interacting with the community.
