+1 to the title of the thread, long live record stores. I'm lucky to have several record stores in South Jersey near me, Tunes, a local chain that just closed some of their stores so don't know how long they'll keep going, Jupiter Records, a very nicely stocked used with some new shop just down the road from me, and several others a bit farther away. If I include the greater Philadelphia area, there are over a dozen good to great shops, including the huge Princeton Record Exchange. It's a slight embarrassment of riches for those of us in this area when I hear of people with no record stores near them.
