I post on AK as Rogerfederer. Have been trying more and more to build my own stuff. Have had the best luck with preamps (TVC, PVA, Pass B1). No good at woodworking (can do short-cut version of speaker cabinet restoration).
After a tube phase I'm now exploring SS inspired by the amazing TI chip amps (TPA 3116 and family). Now also an Icepower amp and a F5 clone.
Starting to explore the wonderful world of cables, power cables, conditioners, etc...
