Current and future DIY projects

Hello,
the first project of my DIY loudspeakers i have served Ti6k- JBL. My first contact with
them, was in distant 2005.
I started working with them in 2009 and finished in 2012.
The loudspeakers are "SEAS"- Excel / Tw-1”, Mw-5”for center 2х 5.5”,Bass-8,5”/ and cross-over parts- "Intertechnik".
Have are some pictures, if there is interest, i will continue.

THERE IS INTEREST!

I see DIY projects like these; have great fantasies about making something as beautiful as your speakers, but I always crash back to Earth once I remember my carpentry skills.

Reading about others' exploits gives me a nice warm fuzzy feeling though!

Beautiful work!

I assume you used burl veneer and I'm intrigued how you got it so well blended in the corner radii. If they sound as good as they look, it's a beautiful thing

No, not burl It is "Birds maple",

Now go, how they made the speakers:
First did this "home-matrix"....
On fire therein 8 layers / 4mm / MDF.
The result is two such shells ...

Follows; assembly of the structure veneering veneer 'Birds' maple' toning and everything else ....

Аll my design. Everything is done by my hands.This Is the technical parameters:
Nominal impedance- 8 Ohm
Freguency Range 30Hz-20kHz
Characterstic Sensitivity(2,83V/1m)- 87db

Thanks for the good evaluation!
Auto acrylic varnish, high scratch resistance and UV protection. The last thing is done is polishing with polishing paste 3M- numbers from 1 to 3.
I have used Italian, Spanish varnishes, but I'm most pleased with the Polish. American products can hardly speak / for obvious reasons /.

Wow, can you say inert cabinet. That is one solid piece. What do you anticipate the total weight to be when finished?

And I bet they look even better in person, pictures usually don't really capture how good a nice finish looks.

Wondering how you did the veneering?
I would guess vacuum because of the curves.

Do not use vacuum presses. Flex material on my way / see above in the post /.
