It's replacing my manual SpinClean. Already cleaned about 2 dozen LPs, it works great.

Decal, it looks very nice, looking forward to an in-depth review or at least some thoughts.  Fremer mentioned it 1 1/2 years ago and then nothing, glad to see someone get one, and hopefully will fill us in, we need an excellent cleaner in that price range.  especially curious about noise it makes.

Congratulations Decal! My wife and I exchange gifts whenever we want. It annoys some people, but not me. Someone GAVE me a VPI 16.5 cleaner for Christmas in an unbelievable way. Totally unexpected and really appreciated.

It's fast AND quiet and the fact that it holds just at the label means no contamination from platter. The screw on label protector / clamp is a nice touch. Be careful screwing on / off - if it doesn't screw on easily don't force it or you will strip the threads! 

Use the supplied grease on the base tube for the vacuum tube. It will make it much easier to move the tube into and out of position.

Not a whole lot more to cover that I'm aware of! Enjoy!

Very nice. Looks like the newer model with the rounded knob instead of the ball for the screw down. Hope they fixed the issue with the felt coming apart from the vacuum tube. From where was your unit purchased?

My Wife purchased it from Music Direct. I have never owned an automated RCM so I have nothing to compare it to. It is very well built,doesn't seem overly loud to me and it cleans and dries records really well. That's about all I can say in any form of review.
