I echo the comments relative to burning in the unit first, and you might as well us the EH tubes to help do that before engaging in tube rolling.
My personal opinion is that the Sylvania Gold Label JHS 5751WA triple mica blackplates absolutely make the Jolida sing in my system. (I note I've rolled a number of tubes in the Jolida, my AGon link shows some of those tubes.) I think these tubes, when they can be found NOS/NIB, are going for about $150-160/pair.
I also use a cryoed Chris VenHaus Flavor 1 PC. Although the positive improvements it made in the lower registers were most noticeable, the sound from the Jolida seemed to improve across the frequency spectrum. Blacker background, etc. Chris VH has a 30 day money back guarantee, too, so one can test and return if the results are not to one's liking.
One last note, I feel using Walker SST on the IEC prongs, PC prongs, tube pins, RCAs, etc, also made distinct improvements. If you choose to use this product, please carefully follow Mr. Walker's instructions. SST runs about $70/jar, and there's enough it seems to treat a hundred or more systems (I subsequently treated my speaker cables and then rest of my gear.) [There's also Super SST or some such thing that recently came out, it cost more and I haven't tried it.] I personally feel the Walker lets one hear what the component has to offer, and I won't think about upgrading any gear until it's had the SST treatment and then been revisited.
Best of luck in your choices. I know there are units that can give more than the JD-100, but I haven't heard one at the unit's price/performance point (+ Sylvania 5751s + SST + VH PC).
