I'm curious about this too. I actually tried the stereo JJAZ with my Zero Autoformers to see if an 8 ohm load would help the amp out and it seemed to dry up the bass and mids even more. So I assumed that there was no damping factor or impedance mismatch problems.

We have had them running into everything from a straight 8 ohm load to a highly inductive load below 1 ohm. They seem to be pretty ignorant of the load if you ask me  :D  We haven't detected any sonic difference that could be blamed on the different loads tried.
