SALEConrad-Johnson ET-250S power-amp8/10 for age; $3,850 $3000/obo
As good an amp, as I've ever owned; and I've owned plenty. Including old C-J SS, like the MF-2250A and 2500A; and the new 2550SE.
Here's the tale: I bought an ARC VT-50, to go with my C-J ET-3SE. I blew up the VT-50, with a biasing mistake

I sent it to ARC, and while waiting; I saw a good deal on the new 2550SE and took advantage. I wasn't crazy about the combo, and in the meantime...the estimate came back from ARC! OUCH!!

So I sold the 2550SE, and waited for the VT-50 to come back from repair. I wasn't crazy about
that pairing either, and was starting to wonder...if the pre-amp was the culprit. I bought the used ET-250S...an amp, I'd always wanted to give an audition to; and...you guessed it. Wasn't crazy about it either. Time for another pre-amp!
I bought an ARC LS-26, and man...did it make the ET-250S come alive! Spectacular synergy, between the 2...and my speakers.
So...why sell? Because a buddy convinced me, to go in on a 2nd Bryston 4B3 with him. Even though I did...I wasn't going to sell the C-J, until I was
sure; the Bryston really outperformed it. But I do still have the VT-50, I kind of
have to hang on to (because of the $$$ invested); and as the banner says. Fire sale; I've decided...I can't have 3 amps, 4 dacs, etc.
I have some close-ups; and I'll send, or take more...upon request. But they're not very good. Here's a recent pic, in my system...
