Hello!
I am an audiophile in the making. I have recently returned to this thing of listening to good sound. When I grew up in 80's I listened to Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode. And during the years of CD:s and Spotify I missed the "true" sound of those groups. Especially, when listening to *new* *improved* remasters. It just wouldn't do anymore if wanted my listening experience back. Being a huge Morrissey and Smiths fan left me no option but go back to vinyl if I wanted to play b-sides and more rare tracks which are not available on Spotify and other streaming options.
So I decided to buy a used record player. I looked in to several brands on the market, but I fell in love with a Sonab 85s. All of a sudden my childhood memories of Kraftwerk came back. Computer World was just woah! Black Celebration and David Gahan's voice send pleasant shivers down my spine.
That is were I am now. Bought a record player. Started buying records (again!). Bought a spin clean machine. Reading up on tweaks to make my very modest rig sound even better. Planning my upgrade/ dream rig, and what (realistic, within budget) components I should buy to accomplish that goal. The latter means that I am scouring every thread about what gear to buy. Which explains why I have register on this forum: to learn more about equipment, discover new music and later on join the discussion and share my knowledge.
Please note that English is not my first language so bear with me if I have made any errors (Which I am sure there are plenty of them).
Thank you for reading my introduction!
