10 Cable Elevators based on Cardas Muliti Blocks
« on: 25 Dec 2015, 12:49 pm »

This is the third batch I've made, and these are the best yet. Why? 1. Instead of using regular Douglas Fir, this time I used Premium Douglas Fir for better quality of the wood. 2. The cuts are more precise so slots are more of a true V shape, than sometimes being a little bit of a W on some blocks in the past. 3. The blocks are cut more consistently, so slot sizes and the location of slots are more consistent from block to block. For now, the price stays the same. Price likely to rise in future due to extra time I put in to make these improvements.

Audiophile cable elevators for lifting your cables and cords off the ground/carpet, as well as separating them (jumping interconnects over power cords and speaker wires) and organizing them. I currently use about 35 of these for my main setup and about a dozen more for my office. I would recommend a block every 12 to 15 inches.

I made these based on the Cardas Multi blocks. I found the Cardas ones to be too expensive ($50 + $6 shipping = $56 for 6 [$9.33 each vs. $4.00 each for these]). Cardas ones also fell over very easily, especially on carpet. Their slots were small and not good for any thick cords (especially power cords). They were also very low, forcing me to use more than one in a spot to jump cords, increasing the cost dramatically. The blocks in this listing are sturdier, higher and have bigger slots.

Here's what recent ebay buyer had to say (unedited): "Just a note to say after plenty of listening i am enjoying my hifi all the more thanks to these wooden wonders. a more natural sound better sound stage both in regard to focus and depth. speakers truly have disapered. thanks so much i love sound and u have made that an even greater pleasure. if u put reviews on your page feel free to write what u please in my name. Kind Regards, Thomas W. Savage"

Made from Douglas Fir, same as Cardas.

 Approximate dimensions: 3 1/2" by 3 1/2" by 1 1/4"

One slot side--slot is 1 1/2" wide and 1" deep.

Two slot side--slot is 3/4" wide and 3/4" deep.

If there is one thing not as good as the Cardas ones, it is the finish. I use them as you see pictured here, but if you want a really smooth finish, these will need to be sanded further.

Total for 10 = $40.00. Free shipping. Free Paypal. I use USPS Priority Mail and they usually arrive in 2-3 business days in US. Multiple sets available.
