Yes. I have been using it with the Logi Smart Keyboard and I really like it. I use my MacBook Pro even less now, in fact I thought it was locked up because it wouldn't respond when I touched the screen when I finally used it last week to Airdrop a file to my iPad. I love the lighted keyboard on the Logitech now referred to as Logi.

As apps update the experience will improve further as they make better use of the extra space. One thing that annoys me is the lack of Apple Pencils. Have it on order from CDW since launch and they have not had one yet! The closest Apple Store is about 100 miles from me and I still haven't seen one in stock there or at Best Buy.

Got one this week but keyboard coming later so am reserving judgement on its suitability to replace my Air. It's beautiful to hold and the screen is great. Some apps not quite up to it yet.

I had to buy a new device recently, mainly for business use, and had a choice between a MacBook Air, the new MacBook and an IPad Pro.  I would have had to buy a keyboard for the iPad Pro.  Finished up buying the MacBook, mainly driven by the preference of OS X vs iOS, also due to prejudices towards first generation Apple tablets - I've got a first generation iPad that got left behind by the iOS upgrades that weren't supported, which makes me cautious about being a first adopter.  Maybe in a few years time....

Thanks Scotty, but I refuse to reward device scalpers the same as I won't buy concert tickets from them. I figure that they will continue this practice if they make money on these somewhat dubious schemes. I will eventually get one through the proper channels.
