A beautiful pair of the legendary Linkwitz Orions are for sale. This version was built with nearly indestructible black aluminum, and is austere and minimalist; a perfect match for modern furnishings. The sound is astonishing, combining the qualities of a planar system with the dynamics of cones, and with just modest amps, the speakers produce powerful sonics.

Asking $1800, a considerable bargain. Includes cabling, ASP/Crossover, shipping boxes, and plans. Does not include amplifier, which needs to be 6-8 channels.

Those are gorgeous!  Wish I was in the market, that is an absolute steal.  When I get the space in our next house for a dedicated listening room I'd like to build a high end DIY speaker with aluminum baffles.  If you don't mind me asking, where did you get yours built?  Thanks and good luck with the sale!

Thanks. I wish I could take credit for the build, but it was someone else's labor of love. In fact, that's why I'm selling; I want to build my own speakers.

Really nice looking!  Your listing says local sale but also that you have shipping boxes.  Is shipping out of the question?  I'm in the Tacoma WA area.

It's not out of the question, but I was hoping to do a local sale. I have no experience shipping such large and heavy items, so I'm hesitant. I suppose that the good news is that they probably can be taken apart (baffle and woofer box), and the baffle seems nearly bulletproof.

If they don't get sold soon, I'll open it up.
