   Sorry Dave it looks like I have to back out of this session. My plans got changed by my daughter and Granddaughter !
   I wanted so much for you guys to hear the 26-26 DC 45 amp .......... well maybe next time !

Willie, we will be going both days. At least stop by and have a couple bowls of jambalaya. Liam is going to be the lead chef for this round - I'm going to be training him to do it now that the recipe is about as bulletproof as I can make it. You are welcome to bring them by for a visit if they are hungry!

Willie made it and had fun, along with everyone else. His amp, in a fit of pique, decided it didn't want to visit, so it took out his rear view mirror.  :o :?

Matt of Toolshed Audio made it in from Milwaukee, and brought his Genesis 6 amp, which we threw on the Altec 19s. Mark also brought in his 6bg4 push pull amp to play with the 19s..

It happened. It was fun. Got to hear a number of different amps. We didn't get to compare the Arte Forma amps though. Didn't feel like carrying them in.

The Klipsch RF7s saw the Handmade Electronics WE91A monoblocs and the Opera Consonance 211s, the Altec Model 19s had the push pull 6BG4 amp of Mark's and the Genesis 6 stereo SEP amp of ToolShed Matt's  :wink: run through the Juicy Music Merlin tube linestage, and the Grant Fidelity LS3/5A and IMF Reference 80 MKII speakers upstairs had the Ming Da tube linestage with the Sean Casper WE 421 based 91A replica tube amp. We ran only cds as a matter of convenience.



Willie, if you want, I did some digging this morning and found a pair of 45s and a trio of 26s if you need to repopulate your amp. I don't have a four pin slot on my tester, but you are welcome to them if you need them. Just let me know.

 Dave Thanks for hosting such a great event.  I wish I could have stayed longer than 75mins. I really enjoyed that upstairs setup with the
 IMF speakers, MingDa pre and WE421 amp. A very good sounding system IMO.

   Just to let you know, today I checked the amp and it was OK other than a couple of broken tubes........ Please give me a call Dave, would
really love to have those tubes.
