1) Try to arrive by 8:30 or 9 am for table setup
2) Sellers will want to park close to the front door.  SEE MAP.  I am working on signage w police to keep these spots free.  I'll figure something out.
3) Bring $15 cash in this exact amount, if you haven't paid for a table.
4) Bring extension cords for power.
5) Some change if you need to break bills for a buyer
6) Clean up your area when you leave for the day.
7) HAVE A GOOD TIME.

I am sure I left something out, but we are mostly there.

Update: Dry run was a HUGE success.

Everything is in order for Sat.

On top of that, Mark showed me a side access double door to the gym.  Sellers will have about 10 feet to walk from car trunk to the inside of the gym.  No steps.  (So park on Grand)

Also, he said the Grand parking is normally all empty on the weekend, and Susie and I picked up 6 "no parking" signs from the police station to scare off any attempts.

(There are lots of power outlets, but don't forget your extension cords)

I feel tired but not stressed any longer.  All smooth sailing....

PS. We have a full crew for Sat, but if you were on the fence about selling, let me know asap.  We can still accommodate a couple more tables.

I love audio and secondly, I just wanted to see if I could organize said event.

It worked!

Lots of war stories told and all we needed was perhaps some added afternoon shoppers.

Next event we can fiddle with venue and changes here and there.

The record sellers told me they did much better than they expected.  I think the casual shopper likes hitting the vinyl bins for only a few bucks.

I guess I missed it today. I was there at 3:30 doors were locked. No signs. Grand and Pestalozzi right?  Another guy was there also. He was headed to Grattan street. What's up?

Yes, everyone packed up and was gone by 1:30 except me.

We had 11 seller tables and a couple vinyl booths to go thru.

LOTS of action right when we opened at 10 am.

I want to thank Kyle for all of his efforts to find a location for the Jumble and for organizing and advertising it.  Thanks also to his wife for providing drinks and snacks and for her giving up her day to be there.  It was good seeing everyone who was involved.  Kent
