Part of why I'm quitting RMAF shovw coverage is that I have a pair of Danny-designed Super 7 speakers with OB planar mids/highs and Rythmik OB servo bass and it's pretty much ruined me for anything else.  It's hard to gather much enthusiasm when every room is a let down vs what you have at home.

From what Danny has said about the Wedgies/Wedge bass combination that kicked off this thread, it takes the Super 7 to beat them.

And Tyson saying the Super 7's beat anything else he's heard, that says an awful lot about the Wedgies

As Joemamma noted in his post, the Wedgie/Wedge combo is not cheap but considering it's performance level it is one heck of a bargain

Danny, are those the one-off OB line arrays that you did for Mockingbird Audio?

Why not just have drives made like many high end speaker companies?

It'd be very expensive to do so.

There are patents on both of the drivers used in that line source. So they can't be easily replicated.

And I have been exploring new options all over the world.

Line Force (according to the website) was supposed to be a sealed box design, while the mid/tweet panels on these are winged/OB like the LS-X and Wedgie.

Line Force could have morphed into this model, of course. Or it could be what the Singularity morphed into.

Absolutely true but ... No Fair!!! That's like hunting mosquitoes with a howitzer

Seriously though, my grandson and I got to listen to these last May and they truly are in a realm of their own. Absolutely wonderful experience. However, seeing as how I would have to win the lottery to ever be able to afford a pair, I will very happily kick back and listen to my Wedgies and not feel slighted.

Thanks.

I remember seeing those pics at the time, but forgot.

So it IS the Line Force.
