SOLD: NOS tubes 7308/E188CC Matched pair
« on: 7 Aug 2015, 08:57 pm »
I purchased these in March to upgrade from stock JJs in Vinnie Rossi LIO. They made a very nice difference in almost every way. But I returned the LIO and don't need these. Purchased from Brent Jessee for $299/pair. They have around 100 hours on them.

Asking $200 for the pair. Price includes shipping to CONUS,  verified Paypal only please. I'll cover the Paypal fee.

More info from Brent Jessee's site:

7308/E188CC (ultra premium 6DJ8/7308) 1970-1972 Mazda France made for RTC and R/T, DIMPLE DISC GETTER, gold pins, rare.MATCHED PAIR

New Old Stock, white box. MORE NOS STOCK JUST IN! Rare French Mazda made 7308 goldpin tubes, not often found in the USA. These are the early 1970s version, with the dimple disc getter, only made for 3 years. The 7308 is usually regarded as the best 6922/6DJ8 type, and these French made tubes are no exception to the rule. Gold pins, RTC or R/T label, very low noise, sweet like the Amperex with better dynamics. Made for exacting ORTF French Broadcasting requirements, many marked ORTF. These have the best price on a genuine NOS Philips-Owned factory made 7308 pair. These are VERY scarce in the USA, and are an excellent value when you compare this price to the prices of the Cca tubes. Very nicely matched pairs, supplied with test data.

Hi Heckler,

I think there is one slightly bent pin. Is this what you are referring to? I was able to install and remove the tube with ease.

One tube reads FTC/ E188CC/ 7330. Toward the bottom of the second tube I see F3K2.

Sorry, I have very little experience with tubes. Brent Jessee was recommended as very reliable, so I trusted the info supplied on the box labels.

Thanks for your questions.

Christopher
