What a great yearly summer event here in the Burgh!!!
As far as I understand it's the only vintage GP race on regular street roads. So they close off Schenley Park and a few other connecting roads and the vintage Jags, Porches , triumphs , etc. race around real loud , and proud.
Yes , you can take a lap with a pro driver. My daughter and I did the past two years. About $20 or so.
Thousands of vintage and new cars on the public golf course. Food and raffles etc. I'd your a car buff , this show and race is the real deal!!!! Pics:

About a million years ago, when I was in college, I owned an old Triumph TR-4. Red with wires and knock offs. I'd love to see one in action after all these years.

Nice pics stlrman, we have a vintage racing group in the Pac NW, SOVREN (Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts) that put on a several events around the region each year. Local to the Seattle area they hold races the 4th of July annually at Pacific Raceways outside of Auburn. Quite the group. Too often I forget until it's over. A few years back I went, Phil Hill was there with some of his vintage Ferraris (not racing, just display). He was busy with other folks so I didn't get to talk to him, a shame as he passed the next year. But they run the whole gamut from open wheel to vintage CANAM & TransAm. Always fun to see the beasts I used to watch & run against in SCCA races around the Midwest. Looks like the Bugeyes are hungry. 

Love those old Jags. I think my favorite is the C type. The body lines just flow so beautifully. All pics appreciated.
