So...... how many 15's can you jam in that hatch?

Ahem, sorry, could not resist given our shared history with OB large subs!

Nice cars, I have often looked at them, but am happy with our fleet at the moment.

Looks like fun.  I prefer the looks of the 500X with the widened shoulders and 4-doors: more mature, less awkward (in an Italian kind of way that does work somehow).

Recall a college buddy had a used X-1/9.  Tons of go-cart fun, but the front trunk was need for tools/parts as breakdowns were perpetual.

Living an hour from Chrysler HQ pretty much in the middle of nowhere along a less used freeway one of our local gas stations gets lots of visits from Fiat/Chrysler manufacturer plated cars (leading edge models), must be one of their standard test runs.  So I've seen lots of 500's and recently a Viper.  (This ain't glamorous Southern California, it's very blue collar - foreign car unfriendly Michigan.)

That is one of the most unique looking subwoofers I have ever seen.

Thanks guys... I think.  :green:

mcgsxr... With a rear seat delete, I could easily fit four 15's back there, infinite baffle of course. And speaking of fleet, from left to right is my oldest brother's 2015 Abarth, my 2nd oldest brother's 2013 Abarth Cabrio, my 2013 Abarth, and my girlfriend's 2015 Pop that I got her.

FullRangeMan... They're not much bigger at 1365cc.

mix4fix... In that slot in the front bumper.

JLM... I like the new 500X as well, but would still take my Abarth over it because if it's size. Also, there's already rumors about an Abarth version of the 500X with the same 1.4L turbo motor.

I was to say they could do just that, I fell sad when I see a car engine like it.
A turbo in a 4 stroke car or bike engine works at the extrem limit of everything.
At the limit of temperature, power, friction, its beyond me why they do this.

Chops,
Nice looking car.  Always thought they were kind of cool.

How's the relability been on your brother's older models?

Love the new 500x little blue pill commercial.  Actually all of them are pretty funny.  Great marketing company/campaign.

I'm not quite sure I follow you... You're saying turbo engines are bad? Temp, friction, etc, etc is typically not an issue for an engine and cooling system built for forced induction. Even at 80+ wheel horsepower (whp) and torque over stock, this engine is just cruising along. It's way overbuilt from the factory and can still take a lot more than what I'm giving it currently. There are a few of these very motors right now running in excess of 330 whp with all stock internals.

Extremely impressive for a tiny 1.4L production motor.

Thanks! Amazingly enough, we don't track these cars at all.

Honestly, mine is the oldest one here, built in Feb '13, the red one in April '13, and the two '15s were built in Oct '14. Reliability has been great on all of them. No issues at all. I had a few questionable things replaced on mine, but probably wasn't necessary.
